I teach instrumental music to students in grades 4 and 5 at E.C. Stevens and Parker Farms Schools in Wallingford, CT. My favorite instruments are the clarinet, cello, trombone and the steel drums. I am also a big fan of Broadway Showtunes! When the weather is nice, I like to take my students outdoors to practice. This way we not only get a healthy dose of vitamin D but also pique the interests of future musicians who may be listening. Outside of school I am often found hiking, cycling, camping, backpacking, snorkeling or skiing. I especially enjoy exploring the canyon lands of the desert southwest.
